KZN Flood Damage

On the 23rd of April parts of Durban experienced severe flooding that claimed the lives of at least 54 people.

We were very fortunate that all our staff and families are unharmed by this tragedy.

However the CWGC cemetery we maintain was not spared at the hands of the storm, and suffered severe damages.

A portion of the bank was washed away as a result of the storm water drainage system not being able to cope with the quantity and flow of water.

Luckily only one memorial commemoration head stone was damaged in the flood.

RealGreen sprung in to action ensuring that the damage was repaired as timeously as possible with as little disruption to the cemetery as possible.

Well done to Kevin and his team!
